Cookie Policy

Cyridium Ltd  ·  Last updated: 17 May 2026  ·  ICO registration: ZC135949

This policy explains how Cyridium Ltd (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on cyridium.co.uk and the Cyridium platform (collectively, the “Service”). It applies to our own marketing and administrative pages. Websites built and hosted by our clients have their own cookie practices, which are governed by those clients’ policies.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — work in comparable ways and are also covered by this policy.

2. Our legal basis

We operate under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK Data Use and Access Act (DUAA). Under these rules:

  • Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. We may set them without asking.

  • First-party analytics cookies used solely to improve the Service, where data is not shared with third parties or used for advertising, are exempt from consent requirements under the DUAA — but we must tell you about them and give you a meaningful opt-out.

  • All other cookies (functional, third-party analytics, marketing) require your consent before we set them.

3. Cookies we set

3.1 Strictly necessary

These are essential for the Service to work. You cannot opt out of them while using the Service.

3.2 First-party analytics (DUAA-exempt, opt-out available)

We use our own analytics to understand how users navigate the platform. This data is processed on our infrastructure and is not shared with any third party for advertising or profiling purposes.

You can opt out of these at any time via our cookie preference centre or by using browser Do Not Track settings, which we honour.

3.4 Cookies on client-built websites

Websites built and hosted on the Cyridium platform are operated by our clients. Those sites may set their own cookies — including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels, and other tools chosen by the client. We do not control or have access to those cookies. Please refer to the relevant website’s own cookie policy for details.

4. Managing your preferences

You can manage cookies in the following ways:

  • Cookie banner: When you first visit cyridium.co.uk you will see a cookie consent banner. You can update your choices at any time by clicking “Cookie preferences” in our site footer.

  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair the Service. See your browser’s help documentation for instructions.

  • Opt-out tools: For third-party tools, you can also use the Your Online Choices platform or the DAA opt-out tool.

  • Do Not Track: We honour browser DNT signals for our first-party analytics.

5. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when we introduce new cookies or our practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Significant changes will be notified via a banner or email to account holders.
