Cyridium Ltd is committed to making its platform and website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. This statement applies to cyridium.co.uk and the Cyridium platform dashboard.

1. Our accessibility target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our own platform and marketing website. This standard covers a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

Websites built on Cyridium: The accessibility of websites created by our clients using the Cyridium CMS is the responsibility of those clients. We provide accessible components and encourage clients to follow WCAG 2.1 AA guidance, but we cannot guarantee that all client-built sites meet this standard.

2. How accessible is our platform?

We know some parts of the platform are not fully accessible. We are actively working to improve them. Below is a summary of known issues and our roadmap for addressing them.

What works well

  • All form inputs have visible labels and associated aria-label or aria-labelledby attributes.

  • Colour contrast meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA ratios in the main dashboard and marketing pages.

  • Keyboard navigation is supported throughout the main dashboard.

  • The site uses semantic HTML5 landmarks (<main>, <nav>, <header>, <footer>).

  • Images include descriptive alt text where they convey meaningful information.

  • Focus indicators are visible on interactive elements.

  • No content flashes more than three times per second (reducing seizure risk).

Known limitations

  • Rich-text editor (block editor), some toolbar controls lack descriptive aria labels when only icon-based

  • Drag-and-drop block ordering Not fully operable via keyboard alone; no keyboard-accessible alternative is present

  • Colour picker (brand settings) Hex input accepts values but does not announce contrast ratio to screen readers

  • Mobile dashboard navigation Some nested menu items require precise pointer interaction; touch target size below 24×24 px in places

3. Technical information

Cyridium Ltd is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (where applicable) and as a matter of general good practice.

The cyridium.co.uk website and platform are built using web standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and custom elements (Web Components using the Lit framework). We test against WCAG 2.1 AA using a combination of automated tools (axe-core) and manual testing with screen readers (NVDA + Chrome, VoiceOver + Safari).

4. Enforcement procedure
